About us
The VFW Armed Forces post was created in 1966 and is one of the few remaining physical posts left in Chicago. Located on the northwest side of the city we have members from WWII to our current conflicts in the middle east. We welcome all eligible veterans to join.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars is a unique service organization that comprises of combat veterans. To be eligible a veteran must have served in a war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or in hostile waters. To learn more about eligibility status please click here.
